We are looking for

As a key member of the team who is an expert in their technical specialism, you deliver system solutions for colleagues and engineering of high quality promptly. You will contribute to valuable features that customers use, participate in retrospectives, suggest improvements to processes and methodologies, question requirements and challenges where necessary, identifying value of tasks & always works on the highest priority items. This role will be part of existing Distribution / Transport support stream to improve existing Tech stack whilst continue supporting existing live production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining infrastructure in on-premises Vmware data centres as well as in Azure

• Helping us in building highly available and scalable systems.

• Supporting live .

• Being involved in the full development life cycle and understanding the infrastructure implications of changes

• Automation (Linux OS patching etc.)

• Contributing to post incident analysis

Requirements:

• Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes

• Infrastructure: On-premise (VMware, Hyper-V), Public Cloud (Azure),

• Databases: SQL (Postgres, Oracle)

• Monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, New Relic

• Experience with tools such as: Jira, Confluence

• Operating Systems: Linux, Windows

• Networking: Protocols, firewall configuration

• Scripting skills: Python, Bash

• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps

• Can troubleshoot failures, determine root causes, and make any escalations as

• appropriate. Liaise with stakeholders during issue resolution.

• Able to identify and remove impediments to enable the team to get things done.

• Provides the team with the tools to do their job.

• Facilitates the interaction with other teams for any dependency or integration.

• Being On-call support 7x24 - 1 week / month

• Open for Cross-functional training on domain specifics about Fulfilment / Distribution/ Transport services

• Documentation maintenance - Knowledge base

• Flexibility, ability to plan and organise, responsiveness, creativity, self-starter.

• Able to build solid working relationships with peers and senior leadership.

• Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation.
