Introduction
SIKO KOUPELNY a.s. is one of the leading retailers of bathroom equipment and kitchens in the Czech Republic, operating an extensive network of brick and mortar stores alongside a strong e commerce presence. Efficient logistics and warehouse operations are critical to maintaining market position and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Challenges
SIKO’s warehouse operations generated a large volume of valuable data. However, this data remained largely inaccessible to frontline workers. The primary challenge was a lack of transparency. Warehouse employees had no clear overview of their daily performance, current earnings, or bonus calculations. At the same time, administrative teams spent an excessive amount of time manually compiling reports from backend systems. There was also no effective tool to motivate employees or enable them to track their own performance in real time via mobile devices.
Solution
To address these challenges, Whirr Crew designed and developed the SIKO PickPack system, acting as a bridge between backend operational data and frontline employees. The project was delivered in two strategic phases.
In the first phase, we developed a mobile web application called the Worker Dashboard. This solution provided employees with instant access to the number of picked items and automatically calculated performance bonuses
In the second phase, we introduced large screen public leaderboards installed directly in the warehouse. By applying gamification principles and encouraging healthy competition, employees were naturally driven toward higher productivity. The application is responsive and supports multiple languages (CS, EN, UA, FR).

Results
The PickPack system was successfully deployed and significantly transformed the warehouse culture. Employees quickly adopted the mobile dashboards, leading to an immediate reduction in administrative workload related to wage and performance inquiries. Public leaderboards created a motivating environment in which employees actively track their rankings and performance. Management now benefits from a fully data driven decision making tool without the need for manual report preparation.
Conclusion
Whirr Crew demonstrated the ability to transform raw operational data into an intuitive and impactful digital tool with a direct influence on productivity. The PickPack project proves that modern technologies combined with thoughtful gamification can significantly enhance employee engagement in logistics environments.
