We are looking for a DevOps and Infrastructure Specialist engineer with DevOps skillset who will be responsible for release management, providing CI/CD expertise to the QIS team and responsible for QIS environment management. You should also have an innovation mindset and be well versed in the overall development lifecycle and relevant technologies and tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in Equities-Derivatives domain

• Improve quality of the release management

• Work on automatization and containerisation of QIS projects

• Manage environment refreshes from production

• Work with development team to manage the non-production services stability

• Individual contributor, cooperate with NPS (non-production support) DevOps team

• Take care of hardware inventorisation, own remediation plans for various Tech campaign

• Development will utilize Java, Spring and other technologies.

• Mentoring and support of junior colleagues

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the processes and the system

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good communication skills, including ability to convey information to non-technical colleagues in a concise and clear way.

• Strong stakeholder management, ability to communicate at all levels, manage plans and build sustainable relationships.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a highly pressurized environment

• Strong foundation in system architecture, software development, and both testing and deployment automation

• Continuous Integration applications (Team City, Jenkins)

• Configuration Management systems (Chef)

• Linux/Unix administration

• Scripting (Python, Powershell, etc.)

• Team player familiar with Agile development concepts

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Results-oriented, self-starter with positive "can-do" attitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant experience in software development and exposure to high level programming language (Java preferred)

• Knowledge of relational database systems (preferably Oracle)

• Knowledge of AWS, OpenShift

• Windows Server administration experience

• Familiarity with messaging platforms such as MQ, Solace or Kafka
