We are seeking a Senior VMware Engineer for a full-time role, focused on the Express Resiliency Project. The position is primarily remote, with rare office visits based on an agreement with the reporting manager. The ideal candidate is CZ/SK-based, fluent in Czech and/or English, and has advanced expertise in VMware. Key responsibilities include server rebuild automation, developing automation for VM builds, and implementing resiliency solutions on VMware. The role is initially for 6+ months, with a possible extension through 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the Server Rebuild Automation for the Express Resiliency Project.
- Develop automation for building virtual machines (VMs) on VMware and private cloud platforms.
- Work with technical teams to automate VM builds, particularly for Oracle RAC environments.
- Design and implement resiliency solutions on the VMware platform.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure successful automation and orchestration.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience with the VMware platform, including orchestration and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of server rebuild automation.
- Expertise in automating the build of VMs for both standard VMware and private cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with developing automation for building VMs for Oracle RAC.
- Strong knowledge in designing and implementing resiliency solutions on VMware.
- Excellent communication skills in fluent English.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in delivering automation tasks for infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with resiliency solutions beyond VMware.
- Experience with other cloud platforms for automation and orchestration.
