Whirr Crew is looking for a Europe-based AQA/JS to expand our team.  Our client is a leading international payment technology company that enables businesses worldwide to accept various forms of electronic payments. With a commitment to innovation and seamless transactions, we are expanding our operations in Europe and launching a new mobile-based Point of Sale (POS) system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements, specifications, and design documents.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate the mobile POS system's functionality and performance.

• Identify and report software defects, bugs, and issues, clearly documenting them and communicating with relevant team members.

• Perform manual testing on various devices and operating systems to ensure the product's compatibility and responsiveness across multiple platforms.

• Conduct regression testing to verify that previously identified issues have been resolved and that new updates do not introduce new defects.

• Participate in usability testing to assess the user experience and provide suggestions for improvement.

• Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and isolate issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a smooth testing process.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to validate new features and ensure they meet user requirements and business objectives.

• Proactively provide feedback and suggestions to improve the product's functionality, user experience, and overall quality.

• Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance the testing process and deliver a top-notch product.

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of testing documentation and reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of commercial experience in  Manual QA

• 6+ months as AQA with JS/Cypress

• Exp with SAP

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• English  — Upper Intermediate written + spoken

• Experienced with a range of Testing Tools: Cucumber, RestAPI (SoapUI, Postman, etc), UI (Selenium-Webdriver, etc), etc

• Working knowledge/experience of Docker

• Assisting developers/squad in Test automation Requirements

• Experience with cloud-hosting solutions, and integrating Automated Tests into DevOps CI/CD pipelines and using Jenkins, Travis, etc.
